Part of the Hourouf Collection, a collaboration between Jihan C and Atelier de Ray, this unisex abaya transforms letters into wearable art.
Designed for both men and women and crafted from 100% organic linen-Najaf Fabric, the abaya features Arabic and Phoenician-inspired letters embroidered using a combination of hand and machine techniques. Phoenician silhouette motifs adorn the sleeves, while the back features the Wheel of Letters, inspired by Jihan C’s TEDx talk, We All Speak the Same Beginning.
The artwork celebrates the journey of letters across civilizations and the connection between ancient heritage and contemporary identity.
Each abaya is individually handcrafted in Lebanon with love, giving every piece its own character.
